Edit playlists in offline mode

Hi there,

I usually use Spotify on my phone exclusively in offline mode.

I was wondering if any changes that I make to playlists while I'm in offline mode are carried over to my account.
Do they carry over at all and if so, do they update while I have a WIFI connection or only when I explicitly turn off offline mode?

For example: If I add a song to a playlist on my phone in offline mode and later add another song on my PC and then go online on my phone, will both songs be added to the playlist or will the newer change overwrite any changes I did while in offline mode before going back online?

I've already searched for an answer to this question online, but haven't found anything unfortunately.

I hope this question isn't too confusing.
