Issues with Spotify Control in Car

I am reaching out due to an issue I have been experiencing while trying to use Spotify in my car.
 
I am currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max with the latest software updates installed, and both the phone and the Spotify app are up to date. The problem that I'm experiencing is that I am unable to control my music while in the car, meaning that I cannot switch, pause, or return to a previous song. 
 
Please note that this is not a problem related to my car, as the same issue persists across different vehicles. I have also tested Spotify in the same vehicles using my wife's phone, and we did not encounter any issues, so the problem seems to be specifically tied to my device.
 
I have tried several troubleshooting steps already, including restarting my phone, reinstalling the Spotify app, and even switching vehicles. Unfortunately, none of these solutions have resolved the issue.
 
As a paying customer of your Family Premium plan, I value the service you provide and I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this matter. I am more than willing to provide further information or cooperate in any way that would assist in resolving this issue.
