I haven't updated all year either the desktop or iphone apps and it seems like I am saving myself a lot of headache and annoyance. Why Spotify forces such drastic and pointless on its users is beyond me. It should really mold to the user. If a user doesn't like audiobooks or podcast, both should never even be on the home screen. I don't need merch links or tour dates that quick, sorry Gen Z.
