Rewind locked screen Apple (iOS)

Hi, I’ve been patiently waiting for weeks now for someone to fix the “bug” of the rewind button on both my locked iPhone screen but also from the accessibility screen you get when you drag your finger from the top right corner down.

I don’t understand what is going on because I read online people started experiencing this around the middle of march (that’s when it started for me too) and I can’t believe it’s still not fixed. 
I can fast forward a song without problem but when I want to rewind a song for like 10 seconds or whatever it is it’s like the button gets stuck and it just keeps rewinding the song to its beginning and then it get stuck there and the song won’t start playing again so I have to go out and close/swipe away the app (if you understand what I mean). I’ve tried logging out and deleting the app itself but I don’t know what to do know. I didn’t find any solutions online and I am sorry if I am coming of a bit aggravated but I just feel like I must have missed out on an update or whatever because I can’t believe it would take this long to fix it? 
I love the rewind button when I’m running and everything gets so frustrating now when it does not work.

This sounds like an iOS issue. I had this before where you would see that little rewind icon just moving back and back and it keeps the song at 0:00. Try updating your iPhone if you aren’t already up to date since this isn’t something Spotify can fix.

It won’t let me rewind or fast forward on my iPhone or with the steering wheel buttons while in the car. It was just working like a week ago so this problem only started happening a couple days ago
