Adding my wife to my Spotify family account has become a nightmare as my address contains a mix of English and Arabic characters. When i paste the address that is visible under Account settings in Spotify Desktop and I cut and paste the same address when adding wife's account to the Premium subscription (by inviting her), the same address is rejected. Poor programming job whoever has done it.
Has anyone run into this issue in countries where the address uses both the English as well as other character sets? How can this issue be resolved?
Thanks in advance to all who'd reply.

I had the same issue before and I figured out few reasons why:
1. The address doesn't match the country of the account you are trying to add. Let's say for example, your address is New York, make sure that the country of origin on your wife's account is USA (as shown on this screenshot).
2. The address is not verified. Manually type-in the address, click find, and then confirm if the address is correct.
3. You may wanna check if the device being used is connected to a VPN. Using VPN connection can cause issues such as like this.

Hi. Thanks for the fix. That worked. I realized that while creating the account, I was logged in using VPN to another country. So I logged in using my Wife's account on the spotify Web and changed the country to the current one. Then from her iphone, I clicked on the invite and entered the same address and it worked right away.
It's great to know I was able to help. It's my pleasure.
Help! This did not work for me at all and I'm not using VPN, so does anyone know a fix? I'm going to have to change my plan to individual and my husband is okay with using the free version. I'm not paying for anything more than I have to, so there you go Spotify. So ridiculous! Why use an address? Why not some random pin number or code? It's what every app does now a days.
