First of all I want to say that I absolutely love this feature, and it may sound silly, but this is the biggest thing in music players for me since I installed Winamp the first time 😂
I've been using it almost non-stop to explore music in a very organic way, but it comes with a few problems
1. When you enable enchance it doesn't make sense to have Shuffle enabled as it makes it very hard to find the plus/minus buttons because you have to scroll to or search for the item to find it
Until I realized this I didn't enjoy the feature at all and didn't really understand it
2. Newly enchanced songs are not included in the queue, so if you are listening semi-passively and don't remember to manually jump to the first of the newly enchanced songs Spotify will just skip them and move on to the item that was next in line before.
Maybe this is intentional but it feels to me like it would make more sense that it just played them in the visible order by default
3. On a few occasions now have I gotten a bit deep into the enchanced tracks which means there is this branching out of songs in different directions, and if you like every song you never get back "down" to the original sets of songs again; but then all of a sudden I got a message that I had been given 50 new songs, and all those songs that I had lined up to explore disappeared, so this was a bit of a disappointment since the quality of the recommendations iI got was absolutely fantastic
That puts a weird twist to the exploration where you need to chose which songs to listen to because at some point they will all disappear, so now I need to be more careful which songs I add because at some point the reset will come
Just now it reset again for some reason and I realize also that what I see is new, but if I just let Spotify play it seems to still be playing the old list of songs, so this is also a bit confusing
4. Bonus idea: It would be nice if it was also possible to add/remove an enchanced song from the fullscreen view for a song on the app. I think it would be a lot easier to use Enchance since now you also cannot use the prev/next buttons as they will skip newly added songs so every time you add a song you have to close the fullscreen view to add it, but instead if the songs play in the order they are listed then you can just have the fullscreen open and add or remove and next and prev to navigate around more easily
I think Enchance could benefit from some of these changes to feel more predictable because it's still a bit hard to use in a way that doesn't put obstacles in your way
