Collaborative Exclusivity on Playlists

Collaborative Exclusivity on Playlists

So, a friend and I have a music website we are constantly messing with and trying to improve.  We are currently working on a social media attack plan and are trying to incorporate spotify into this.

We are thinking that we want to have a spotify playlist that we can both add to from our respective accounts.  We don't want to make it so just anyone can add to it, just the contributing members.  Is there are way to do this?  This, collaborative exclusivity?

Any information or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You could just get whoever else wants to add tracks to send them to your inbox and then it is just a case of copy and pasting them from your Spotify inbox into the playlist.

Hey! A very warm welcome to the community 🙂

It is not currently possible to give others access to modify a playlist without making it completely collaborative meaning anyone can edit it. It sounds to me like you need the same feature that is requested in this topic, if so add your comments and kudos there and hopefully someday this can be implemented!

What if....

What if used our alternate facebook login, the one we use for the website's facebook page.  Would we be able to simultaneously use the account on spotify and add songs?  Or maybe we could share songs from our individual accounts, to the joined website account and then just manually add this on a daily-ish basis.

Do you foresee any problems with that?  Besides it kind of being a runaround away of doing it?

Thank you so much for the help!
