Email - Facebook

I have changed my email on facebook (i login to spotify through facebook) and i no longer have accsess to the previous email that spotify is still set up to. I need to change my email because I want to get spotify on my phone.

If you have changed your Facebook email address then you should be able to log into Spotify using that new Facebook email. 

Will it not let you?

I have a similar problem. I can log in to spotify with my facebook email, but I can't change my account information, where it asks for a password that is different from my facebook password. Hence I'm unable to change my email address that my account is associated with or my payment details. I appreciate your help.

If you could try again now, you should be able to change those details.

Unfortunately I still can't use my Facebook password. When I try to change my details and give my Facebook password it returns: Sorry, wrong password

Ok, could you use the username 'artturi.bjork' and your Spotify password? Not your Facebook details. It should then be ok.

Unfortunately I can't since I don't remember my spotify password and I'm unable to reset it since I don't have access to the email address associated with my spotify account.

In that case, I would say dropping an email to customer services might be the best. The contact form is here.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

No puedo usar mi email en mi cuenta porque dice que està asociado a una cuenta y no es verdad. De hecho si intento entrar con esa dirección de correo me dice que no hay cuenta asociada.

Por favor, cómo se puede liberar ese email?

Hi. This usually happens if you have two accounts - maybe one with an email address login and the other with a username. If you get in touch with the account team, they'll sort it out for you.If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly to speed things along.

Puedo pedir que eliminen la cuenta creada por email de Facebook para liberar el email? Me da miedo que borren también la creada con usuario, porque la tengo desde hace años.

Tell them exactly what you want and they'll do it. They do have Spanish speakers on the team 🙂
