Gift Card Issues

Someone in norway just bought spotify premium for me as a gift card, and paid with a norwegian card, visa card. But i live in Belgium and cant activate because my country on my profile is Belgium. I can`t edit the country on my profile, there is written <To change your profile country you'll need to update your payment details.>
 
What can we do to solve this problem?

@Sophsolie - Are you getting the same error message as above?

Yes. The error message is 'Country mismatch, Spotify Premium codes can only be redeemed by recipients in the same country as the country you bought the e-card in.'

The thing is that I'm registered in Sweden. But I'm in Helsinki now and I neither can redeem the gift card (which was bought in Finland) nor change my country.

Ok. It got solved but I have no idea how) Total mystery) I was able to remove my previous payment method. And in some time was able to redeem the gift code. Still cannot explain how it worked.

do u have a friend in the country u have made your account in?

if so: ask him to log in and change settings there, you can change ur country by having an ip adress in that country
