Starting yesterday when I play music or radio throughout every song played I get  beep 

any ideas what it might be

A beep? Hmm. That doesn't sound like anything like Spotify's normal behaviour. Are you playing just out of your laptop, or are you using a different program to play wirelessly elsewhere?

Do you have any other programs up that might make a noise? Things like TweetDeck, Google Chat, Skype, MSN, so on.

I've now been consistently hearing "Windows-like" beeps in my Spotify stream for the last few weeks.

These beeps sound like message pop-ups, or notification pop-ups as they occur in the Windows OS. I've ensured they are not coming from my computer. The beeps only occur once in the same spot. If I restart a track the noise doesn't occur in the same spot or at all.

It's annoying and consistent. I'm running Spotify on 3 Macs. These beeps have occured on every machine.

Any resolution or insight would be appreciated.

I never figured out what caused the problem but I did a System Restore and that fixed the problem. Good Luck

Are you saying you did a system restore of your operating system? Or deleted and re-installed the Spotify client?

I did a system restore of the operating system. When I deleted and reinstalled Spotify nothing changed. Good Luck
