Promised 30 day trial hasn't happened

Just joined as a premium member on a 30 day trial if I entered my payment details. However it says I will be billed £9.99 in two days' time, so my free trial is actually for only 48 hours. How so?

why can i not just pay with paypal?

Solved!! I canceled my premium subscription because of those aweful green bubbles.

The help was useless. The instruction were to click to close some tutorial window in the upper right, but no such window existed. Those horrible bubbles covered up the UI and made Spotify one of the worst software experiences I've had in my 30 years ...
