use spotify on more than one device

I have the premium. but spotify pauses when im listening to it on my ipod and my wife opens her playlist on the laptop ? is there a way to avoid this ? thanks

With 1 premium account you can store your music on 3 mobile devices, however you can only stream on one mobile device at a time.

If you don't want to get a 2nd premium account the only solution would be to download the music you want to hear for offline use (via playlists) and then go into offline mode with that device. Not really the best solution, but the only way if you don't want to pay twice.
