[All Platforms][Other] Multiple equalizer presets for different devices

I would really love it if you added the ability to add custom Spotify presets. I use different custom equalizers for different speakers/headphones and it always gets frustrating having to change it every time.

I would like to be able to quickly and easily alternate between different EQ settings.

When playing Spotify on different systems (headphones, car, home HiFi, etc) EQ-settings have to be changed to get optimum sound quality.

Would love to have a button or quick-menu where I can choose a profile (car/home/headphones) that has my preffered EQ-settings for that media.

This absolutely needs to be done!

Even better would being able to default certain devices to certain EQs. Headphones vs AirPlay vs Bluetooth, etc. Also, the ability to save custom EQs would be really important here too.
unbelievable
Me too. Custom eq settings are a must for me between my Bluetooth speaker, decent headphones and Bluetooth headphones, I need a way to make them all sound great and the presets just don't cut it.

1 year on and still nothing has been done. I've been thinking more and more about Spotify's reluctance to add this feature. "Sorry, not enough people are requesting this." Is this really the trailblazing attitude that keeps a company ahead of the curve? Would Steve Jobs have stood on stage with the iPhone 1 and said "Isn't it great that I just found a local Starbucks on Maps. At this point I could have done a demo on how we could call the Starbucks just by clicking on it , but unfortunately, fewer than 25 people requested that feature, so we didn't bother." Just because users don't request a feature doesn't make it worthless. Maybe only 0.01% of users request custom eq settings. But I'll make a bet with you Spotify. If you implement it, the majority of users who use eq will start using custom settings. Do it. You know you want to make a significant proportion of your users even happier.

What is so complicated in integrating an equalizer with presets/custom???

This is an absolutely basic missing feature!

I really need this feature. I have wireless Beats headphones and they have a higher amount of treble and it annoys me that i have to turn on/off the equalizer everytime i switch between aux and headphones.

I'm using Spotify with my bluetooth headset, JBL bluetooth speaker and in my car (also connected thru bluetooth). Especially the headset and the JBL speaker require different settings for the equalizer (the JBL needs some more high tones to sound good, the headset needs some more low tones to bring out the bass). What I'm doing now is manually changing the equalizer settings every time I switch device. Would be aewsome if the Spotify app would remember equalizer settings per connected bluetooth device. As soon as the headset sonnects, the equalizer settings for the headset are applied, when the JBL speaker connects, the JBL settings are applied, etc. When a new bluetooth device connects, it just starts with the default equalizer settings, if you change equalizer settings while a bluetooth device is connected, these changes will be saved in the profile for that device. This way the Spotify app would always know how to make my music sound best, without me having to change settings every time.
