Artist canvas

Artist canvas

How do I turn off artist canvases without turning on data saver.
I hate the way it looks, and I really hate the auto play when I scroll.

Hey! Good come to our community! To disable canva, just follow these steps.

Access your Spotify app and click on the gear:

Then click on playback:

Finally, go to canva and turn on the feature:

Hope this helps. A big hug and a great week!

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help, but that only turns off canvas for tracks not artists.

The artist canvas autoplays on the home screen when the app is opened and I scroll down (it also auto scrolls to put the next item at the top of the screen, which I find objectionable).

If I turn data saver on, the home page (artist canvas) doesn't auoplay, but it also reduces the audio quality to 24kb/s. Which is OK for podcasts but I prefer a higher bitrate for music.

These app design choices are incrementally making my experience worse, I'm looking at switching to deezer or some other provider because of them. Especially when I can't turn off auoplay, which really bugs me.
