My Question or Issue

Two days ago my 15 hours of audio book ran our and Spotify said I had two days until it renewed. When I went on the app today, it said 29 days remaining even though I have not listened to any audio books. No one else has access.

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Your audiobook listening hours are automatically renewed with your Premium subscription on your billing date, so you most likely already got them. You can check this by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Under Subscription, select Audiobook Listening Time.

I used my 15 hours the previous month, but today, the 15 hours is not renewed. Spotify says it renews every month.

I listened to my audiobook hours on 5/28 and 5/29. My bill date is the <snip - moderator edit>. They didn't renew. This ha happened before. So what's the real renewal date?

Can you please check and send us a screenshot of your remaining listening time and renewal date in the mobile app with the following steps?

  • Swipe left or tap your profile picture.
  • Under Settings, select Premium plan.
  • Tap the name of your plan. This shows you the plan overview.
  • Select Track your included hours and top-ups.

Hi moderator (@mihailY),

 

I am having a similar issue. Is there a particular time that the hours will renew each month? I have the date (in 2 days) but I'm questioning if it's accurate.

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the thread.

 

There's not a particular time for the hours to be renewed as this depends on the billing date of each user. So if you want to make sure when the audiobook listening hours will be renewed, we'd recommend checking the date of your billing cycle (displayed at the top of your account page). 

 

If you're using the mobile app, you can check the date by tapping your Profile picture at the top > Settings and privacy > Account > Billing
