Bobby Darin....

Bobby Darin....

Hi Spotify,

Are you able to get the following albums to stream all of the songs on them? A few tracks are available but mostly not. Late 60's Bobby Darin is very hard to find but really wonderful stuff late in his career. I noticed you recently got hold of Jackie Wilson's wonderful early 70's albums which were some of his last, and are rare to find. Would be wonderful if you could do the same for Darin. Regards.

In addition: The song titles of Darins album 'Dreamlover (Remastered)' are mixed up. The titles do not match with the songs.

Hello @Rob_Wright and welcome to the community,

The 3 albums mentioned in your post are compilation released by Demon Music Group Ltd in 2007.

The songs on these albums are mostly not available except a few appearing available because it's possible to find them on another album which is fully available.

Availability of music on Spotify is up to the artists (or representatives / rights owners) and / or their labels. Music missing can be a decision of one of them.

Music missing can also be related to a licensing problem. Licensing rules are not the same from a country to another. That can lead to have albums available in some countries and not in some others. Usually when a licensing problem is solved the music can be added or come back if it has been removed.

Spotify always wants all the music in the world to stream and works hard daily to try to convince artists and labels to let all their catalog in streaming, but sometimes agreements can't be reached.

The best to do is to try to contact the label or publisher for asking why these albums are not actually available for streaming.

Thanks for your understanding 🙂
