Local Files > Playlist > Share?

Let's say I add local files to a playlist that I want to share with my friends. Would they be able to see and listen to those songs? Or does it have to only be songs that are uploaded by Spotify?

As the name says, local files are "local".

To share local files with friends, it needs that the files are saved on their computers also.
