NHTSA Advertisements

NHTSA Advertisements

So I usually use Bluetooth to listen to Spotify while commuting to and from work, friends, etc. I feel like I’ve reported one of the NHSTA advertisements at least 10 times. The first time I heard this ad, the sound of a car crashing triggered my PTSD, (mind you I was driving) and I nearly crashed my vehicle on the freeway. How on earth can I get rid of this advertisement? It gets to the point where I hear the very beginning of the advertisement and I have to shut off my radio until it’s over with, because it terrifies me. What doesn’t make sense to me is, why would someone ever want to hear a car crash sound as they are driving? Here I was, panicking, thinking I had just been hit by somebody. The advertisement is horrifying and I cannot believe someone thought “oh this is totally appropriate”.
