Paul McCartney - RAM - Album/Song Error

Paul McCartney - RAM - Album/Song Error

Writing here to alert Spotify to an apparent uploading error on the Paul McCartney album, RAM.

The actual album is supposed to contain two versions of the song "Ram On," one at track three at around 2:30 in length and one at track eleven as a reprise at around 0:55 in length. They are two distinct songs.

The album as it currently stands on Spotify has the 0:55 version at track three and at track eleven. This is error.

Thank you.

Hello:

The version of the RAM release from Paul McCartney I have access to have both those songs the full track of Ram On and the reprise track Ram On (Reprise), both songs play and have the correct song length, at least the version of that release I have access to. From a lookup tool there are two versions of that release on the service at the moment for different listening regions. Have you first tried playing the same tracks in another Spotify App from the current app having issues with those tracks? For example if the track issues are with the desktop app try playing those same tracks from either a mobel app or maybe the webplayer here https://play.spotify.com/ to see if the same issue happens?

The RAM version for CA and the US:

spotify:album:03quwfxVOzXduvxgawbLRn

and the RAM version for these listening regions: AT AU BE CH DE DK ES FI FR GB NL NONZ SE:

spotify:album:4LPRyrhbUxGn9R6aUOGQxE

Thank you for the response!

Interestingly enough, the issue is sitll happening in my desktop spotify app but not when I play it at https://play.spotify.com/ .

Hello:

Which version of the desktop app do you currently have, and also system OS the Spotify desktop app is being used on? This could simply be just a messed up caching issue of that album, and it could also be possible if you have any local music files in your playlists, that a local music file is getting crossed up somewhere along the way too in playback from these Spotify tracks from the service.

To fix a possible caching issue, you might try a clean reinstall of the desktop app, making sure to remove any Spotify files left behind from the uninstall process and then reinstall a new Spotify desktop app from here for a Windows System: http://download.spotify.com/SpotifySetup.exe if you need a new installer for another system you can check this page here: https://www.spotify.com/download/other/ for the installer you might need.

If there is an issue with local music files messing up and interfering with the Spotify content, just go to the Spotify desktop app settings, and toggle off all local file locations and then log out of the app and log back in, and then see if the same playback issue is happening. If this corrected the issue, a local music file is somehow messing up the playback of those tracks from the Spotify service, check your playlists to see if any local music files with the same or similar track names are in any of your playlists and remove them from any and all playlists.

Why i can hear like 4 songs of the album?? What about long haired lady or monkberry moon delight? Mmm

Hello! found this topic and want to ask if anyone can get the songs correctly? For me, the "Ram On" song also appears twice and no "Ram On (Reprise)" can bea found.
