For some reason, the cover pictures for my daily mix isn't showing up. I've tried restarting, redownloading, and deleting cache, yet nothing works.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sharing with us the make/model and OS of the device on which you notice this behavior, along with the Spotify version you are running there? Do you notice if this is happening on more than one device?


On another note, we understand you've tried reinstalling the app. Have you tried cleanly reinstalling the app? If you haven't, we'd suggest you follow the steps in this article. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience.


Finally, is this happening over WiFi? 3G/4G? Both? Do you notice any difference if you switch the internet red you're using? Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.

Android 10 and version 8.8.40.470!

I'm mostly using 4G Wi-Fi. BTW, this only applies to daily mixes, weirdly.

Oh and, I've tried cleanly reinstalling it! Seems to make no difference though:(.

Just to confirm, can you replicate this behavior on a different mobile device? If you're not sure, itโ€™d be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or friend to open your account and check.

 

Don't forget to share with us the make and model of your mobile device ๐Ÿ™‚ . It'll be really helpful if you send a screenshot or video recording of how you see the Daily mixes. If you send a video, you can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public so we can visualize it.

 

Lastly, just to confirm, has the app always been behaving like this, or does it start to happen after a specific event, such as an OS update? Please send us the details about it. Check if there is a pending update for the OS of your device.
