Playlist sorting in Folders does not work

My Question or Issue

Playlist in playlist folders can not be sorted any longer on my Android devices. In Soptify for windows i can at least drag and drop them to have a user defined postion, but on my Android devices the order never changes.

Any help is welcome

You should be able to sort your folders if you click the three dot menu.

If you can't see it, can you provide us a screenshot from your three dot menu so that we can have a closer look directly from your end?

thank you for your quick answer.... 

But which three dot menu you mean?

Screenshot_1.jpg shows the interface on Android - here the order is "Alphabetic" which is true for all playlists in the root folder.

Screenshot_2.jpg show the folder wiht playlist.... but not in an alphabetic order.

Under Window there is no three dot menu any more... only a selector for "alphabetic" order like shown in Screenshot_3.png.

We can confirm that currently it's not possible to sort playlists inside a folder in the mobile app.

That seams to be an issue for the windows client too.

A few weeks ago - where there was a three dot menu, sorting works as expected.

Is there a way to downgrade to a former version of spotify on windows and android?

There's not possible to revert to an older version if Spotify.

I have been having issues for a very long time in not being able to sort playlists in playlist folders. This issue is present in both my mobile and desktop versions of the app. I understand that one solution may be in the "3 dots" function; I have attached two pictures (one of my mobile app and one of my desktop app) showing that I have no such function available. The sorting function remains stuck, it seems, on "last played." I have almost 200 playlists... I need an alphabetical function!! There's no way I can be the only heavy user who has experienced this?!?

I've seen a response in this email thread where a moderator confirmed "it's not currently possible to sort playlists in a playlist folder in the mobile app." But I cannot sort it in the desktop app, either...

It's correct that at the moment it's not possible to sort playlists inside a folder.

However, since this could benefit several users you can submit an idea requesting a feature that allows you to manually sort your playlists organized inside folders.

This does not help. Many users have already brought up this deficiency MONTHS AGO.  How the f*ck do you not have the ability to sort playlists in folders?! Downright PRIMITIVE user experience for your heavy users... iTunes is calling... !!!
