Discover weekly playlist not updating

I'm having trouble with my discover weekly playlist, it's stopped updating every week and I don't know how to fix it. It's been a month now with the same songs and won't update. Please help!

My playlist is not updating and I've tried all the tips I've seen - signing out and back in, unfollowing and following again, etc and it just won't update. Frustrating!

Have you been streaming recently, and do you regularly listen in a private session? Do you only stream from the DW playlist? Streams from the DW playlist don't count towards your recommendations.

 

Could you please post the Spotify URI / link of your DW playlist? I could pass it on to the right team so it can hopefully get fixed.
 

You need to go to your Discover Weekly playlist in your Desktop Spotify. Put your mouse pointer over the title and right click it. In there, the option will appear to 'Copy Spotify URI' and paste it here. 🙂

I can help you pass it on to the right team so it can hopefully get fixed.

 

But first I need to ask, have you been streaming recently, and do you regularly listen in a private session? Do you only stream from the DW playlist? Streams from the DW playlist don't count towards your recommendations.

 

You can try unfollowing your DW, and then heading to 'Browse > Discover'  to follow it again afterwards. Hopefully, unfollowing and following again helps.

I haven't been streaming recently - only in the past couple days. Could that be the issue? I'll try unfollowing and following the DW playlist once more and see if that does anything.

Try streaming more this week, and see if next monday you get new recommendations. If you don't, I'll ask for help. 🙂

Could you fix my problem?

I have done everything I can to fix the problem of not updating DW list unfollowing and following, logging in and out in all the mobiles like phones, and tablets. The list is not updating for almost 3 months. I really miss DW list.

I have the same problem, Discover Weekly has been static for 3 weeks for me.

That's not good. Have you been listening regularly the past couple of weeks and not on a Private Session or just from the Discover Weekly playlist? I've just checked your playlist, and it seems to have been updated last monday as it should.

I've been listening regularly and tried all the other stuff. It's been close to a month and no new Discover Weekly.

 

Here is my url:

@osornios In the Discover Weekly playlist, under the calendar icon it says 2017-09-25 - so my guess is that is when it last updated.

And I have copied all of the Discover Weekly playlists to a playlist of my own to make sure I don't miss out on any of it, and if I go to that playlist, the latest additions were on 2017-09-30. If I select all the items from my current Discover Weekly and add them to my playlist with all the DW's, they are all duplicates.

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

 

Logout of your account in the app and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account.

 

If that doesn't do it, you should try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that'll fix the issue.

 

Check out what I get when I access your DW you provided (don't mind the french in the description)

I stream music from Spotify everyday.. even upto 4 hours.

 

I don't use private session, I don't only listen to the recommeded song. I browse a lot and creat my own lists. 

 

I tried setting the "publish my activity on spotify" from off to on .

 

I also tried logging in and out, 

 

I tried uninstalling and installing ..

 

I think I have done almost everything suggested here to get a new DW list.

 

My DW list is not updating for over 3 months... 

 

I really want to get a new DW list..... help me...
