Some songs don’t have lyrics options. If you know the song does have lyrics options, it could be that it’s not available on your device.

The lyrics feature isn't available on computer devices at the moment. If this is something you'd like to see in the future, you can always create a new Idea about this here.

Apparently Spotify made lyrics available on mobile apps but not on desktop apps.

I don't know what motivated them to do so but it's a terrible inconsistency towards user experience. 

Users have been claiming for lyrics for years (just take a look at older posts in the forum) and when they finally do it... they half-ass it by bringing it just to mobile devices. 

Very disappointing.
