Latest Spotify MAC App release draining CPU

Spotify for macOS (Intel). 1.2.29.605.g66a43ceb
Macbook 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7. / OSX. 14.2.1 (23C71)

immediately after the very latest released of Spotify, my CPU is maxxing, with Spotify consuming 90% to 104% of CPU (via Activity Monitor). Fans on full.
Close it down, and CPU drops off and fans drop off...

Have 1) re-started
2) deleted App and re-installed
3) Cleared out Library and Local Files, deleted and re-installed App
issue still ongoing

I cannot confirm or deny if this is normal behavior, as I am not a Mac user.

I would however like to clarify that Activity Monitor on Mac is a little confusing to read. The percentage is not overall utilization, it's utilization per core. This means that these percentages on your 6-core MacBook can go up to 600%.

I recommend performing a Clean Reinstall to help fix this issue.

If a Clean Reinstall does not help, it may be a Spotify app issue.
