No Internet Connection Error Solve - Mac

If anyone else has been pulling their hair out trying to get the mac desktop app connected after Spotify's outtage the other day, you are not alone.

Open the app, you'll get the normal "not connected to internet" nonsense. Stare up to the sky and curse the heavens, then click Help > Troubleshooting - Disable Hardware Acceleration and Restart.
