My Question or Issue

I just finished installing Mac OS Catalina, and each time I try to open Spotify, the icon jumps like normal as if it’s about to open, and then it just doesn’t open. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify several times as well as clearing the cache, but the problem still persists. Is there any way to fix it?

my spotify app macbook 2015 is not loading, tried this solution and now is saying 502 bad gateway, please help!! already uninstalled and reinstalled and turned off and on hardware acceleration

We understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article?

 

If so and the issue persists, would you mind trying in the Web Player to see if it makes any difference?

 

Lastly, include in your next response the exact OS version of your device and the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
