I share and account with my sister & when we both wanna listen to spotify we have to hear what one or the other is listening to. Is there a way I can change that? Would greatly appreciate a response.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

if you're using 1 account then unfortunately there is no way to rectify this. A Spotify account is for personal use and sharing a Spotify account is impossible as it would be in direct violation of the Spotify Terms of Use.

If you and your sister want to listen to different music at the same time on premium tier accounts, your best bet is to take a look at Spotify family.
