Spotify not loading social bar or artist page.

Hello,

Spotify won't  load the social activity bar, friends profiles or artist pages (remain blank, with a find people tab on the SB). It's working other than that. Happened after I installed the update this morning. Tried loading a previous version, that will open artist pages, but not the social bar (and it updates itself pretty sharpish).

I'm a premium user on a mac running OS X 10.7.5

Any ideas?

Enux, that is kind of what I said. The OS is obviously not the problem.. I agree with you, probably something to do with the network, but I think it's strange that we seem to have better answers on what the problem can be than the Spotifypeople have.

Mine is still not updating the activity feed.

Definitely an issue with the feed, I've downgraded on my mac to 0.9.0.133 and still an issue. Tried the upgraded version on my work PC as well which is Windows 7 and still feed doesn't work properly.

Running XP and 7 both with v0.9.1.53.g876fa9df.  Problems started last Thursday 13th June when lost activity feeds... just grey box with "Follow friends, celebs, and artists to discover their music" adn a Grey Box under with "Find People".  Can see who I am following but no activity feed so don't see any changes or activity by them.  Have reinstalled on both machines to no avail.

 EDIT - would appear to be working now... we'll see :-)...!!

Activity user panel is empty since last spotify update : V 0.9.1.53.g876fa9df

I've delete Spotifiy folowing B.  Troubleshooting / Uninstalling

I've restart computer and reinstall software from Spotify web site.

At fist lauching I had this message in activity users panel : cant load users.

I launch again Spotify, and now I've a button who propose me to find users !

I follow 64 friends...

Do you already know this issue ?

I'm using spotify on a Samsung RV720 - Windows 7 laptop.

The latest version I installed was 0.9.1.53.g876fa9df.

I asked my friend his operating system on and the version that is installed.

Same for me. I'm a french user , I use V. 0.9.1.53 on OS X 10.7.5, and my friends activity bar has been frozen for several days now.

I follow several everyday users of Spotify but my activity feed remains empty, except for the "Follow friends, celebrities and artists" notice and "find people" button. I can see artist pages just fine, though.

So far I've tried uninstalling Spotify, removing the cached files and then reinstalling, uncoupling my Facebook account from my Spotify account, and removing the Spotify app from Facebook. All to no avail.

I'm a Spotify premium user on desktop client version 0.9.1.53.g876fa9df, running on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1.

just got a message from Spotify support team saying:

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch with us again.

I believe that the developers are making some amendments to the activity bar, meaning it's unusable for the next 24 hours or so. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, it will be up and running again soon 🙂

If there's anything else we can do then don't hesitate to get in touch.

Same, this has been over two weeks now for me. It's a great feature (when it works) I miss having it. Like you said, fingers crossed!
