Upstream request timeout?

Solved!

Upstream request timeout?

The web player link brings me to a white page that says upstream request timeout. The website said it was fixed in October but it is a new issue for me.

yeah I have it to and I don't understand why

  • A screenshot of the error message along with a detailed description of when/where it appears.
  • The troubleshooting steps you've tried.
  • Your browser and OS version.C:\Users\GCort\Pictures\no healthy upstream spotify 2-23-2025.png
I'm getting error "No healthy upstream. Windows 10. Have not found any troubleshooting steps totry. What do you recommend? **bleep**

I just got the "no healthy upstream", didn't make a screenshot though, when I refreshed the browser the error disappeared and all works as usual.

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Browser Firefox 135.0.1

Internet via Starlink (sorry about that, I'm waiting for glass fiber to get rid of crazy Elon)

Remove the "open.spotify.com" cookie and try again it worked for me! Any more questions please DM me on Discord. Username: <snip - moderator edit>

Hi.

Recently, I’ve been having a lot of issues regarding the Spotify web player (specifically the desktop version, but also happening on the mobile layout.) When using certain applications (even without sound), the next track/advertisement in queue will not play, and must be restarted to actually play it. This has been happening for a while, and It’s also taking a significant amount of time to load, and often displays the “No healthy upstream” message.

Hello how are you?

Welcome to the Spotify Community! I'm happy to have you here 🙂

It may be that a clean reinstall of your Spotify can solve your issue!

You can check out how to do this in this link:

Keep me informed, so I can keep helping you!

I am using the website, not the app.
