Thiss app alleges to be accessable, but will only open if full screen, cannot be adjusted, and even when zoomed out to it's maximum still cuts off some buttons and text. If I minimize it, it wwill never come back. When I open it, it opens in both the app and in my browser. It offers no display or visability optionsand is not compatible with real Accessability features on Windows. There are features that can only appearantly be accessed through the desktop version and not the mobile but cannot get anything other than pandamonium when trying to pull it u] on a computer. Maybe there's a solution I'm just not seeing (I am visually impaired), but unless I'm clued into it than I think I'm going to have to swithch to Apple Music, Apple has a reputation for Actually being Accedsssable.

It would also be nice if you could organize your library with more than just playlists especiallly for local files.

Hi there @JCashComedy,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

You mentioned several issues with the desktop app, such as only launching in full screen, and not being able to restore the window after minimizing it. Could you try performing a clean reinstall of Spotify to see if that does the trick? It's also worth checking the compatibility settings in Windows.

As for zooming out cutting off some of the buttons at the top, the same issue was also reported here - feel free to help out with the investigation by providing the requested details in the thread.

The desktop app opening your browser is generally part of the secure login process, but you should remain logged in to your account even after restarting Spotify or your PC. If you have to log in every time you open the app, it's possible that another cache/storage clearing app is causing this, so try excluding Spotify from its routines. In case you meant Spotify links instead, you can open those directly in the app by pasting them in the search bar and pressing Enter.

While the desktop app and the mobile app have their differences at the moment, we're working on aligning the two together more closely, like with the recent update to the Now Playing View here.

As for organizing Your Library, could you elaborate further so we can get a better idea of what you meant? If you need any help with the sort and filter options, I recommend checking out this article.

If you have a suggestion on how to improve Spotify, you can post it on our Idea Exchange board. Others can then give it a thumbs up and comment to show their support. We’re always looking for opportunities to enhance the user experience for everyone and your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Take care 💚
