Account Username Concern/Question

My Question or Issue

 Whenever I pull up my account on Google chrome I see my username as being a bunch of random letters and numbers while my friend's account link contains their real username. I was wondering if I could have my profile link contain my real username simply because I hate to look at it as a bunch of random letters and numbers. Thank you and have a great day!

If I uunderstood correctly, your username on your profile appears as a string of random numbers-letters?

If you have Facebook connected to your Spotify account, you might need to check the Privacy settings of your account:

Go here (Privacy settings tab on your Spotify account) and make sure that you have enabled (turned green) the 'Process my Facebook data' switch.

Note: it will take about a day for changes to fully take effect.

I also suggest reading this article. Spotify creates such usernames now, but you can choose a display name (unless you have Facebook connected).
