Adding podcast episodes to playlist on desktop app, marking podcast episodes as played

My Question or Issue

Why can't I add podcast episode to playlist on desktop app? I can do it via website or mobile app, but not in desktop app... There is also lack of function "Mark podcast episode as played".

Btw. I wonder if the development of the desktop app is important at all for Spotify. Mobile apps or web app are gaining more and more functions, and desktop apps are standing still.

Right now you can add podcast episodes to a playlist with the mobile app only. If you'd like to see this feature in the desktop app as well, we'd suggest you vote for this idea.

There's already an existing idea which suggests syncing progress of podcast episodes between mobile and desktop devices - feel free to add your +VOTE to it here to show your support.

You may also want to consider up-voting this idea, that would allow you to mark podcast episodes as played on desktop devices.
