Automatic upstart Spotify

I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to apps on PC´s and how to use them. My only question is: how can I make sure Spotify doesn't automatically open as soon as I start up my laptop? I am sure it is probably easily fixed (tried to figure it out myself), but I can't find the solution. Let me be clear; I don't want to get rid off Spotify or log out or anything, I just want to have the option to open and use it when I choose to. Hope someone can help. Kind regards, Kim
