Spotify download

I got premium so my little boy could download some songs on his mp3 player. Can't figure out how to do it, can you help ?

If you have Spotify Premium, you can download songs and play them offline: https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/the_basics/listen-offline/

However, you wouldn't be able to play the songs on a MP3 player; Spotify uses an encrypted file extention(Ogg Vorbis) as their streaming format- not an MP3 file. It's a way to prevent illegal access and piracy of songs. So you would be able to download and play the songs offline, but only on Spotify; You cannot play them on a MP3 player.
