I have an Asus WIndows 7 laptop and I have the latest version of spotify. When I click Browse, then genres/moods. and then pick a genre nothing loads except this
how do I fix this. PLEASE HELP
Solved! Go to Solution.
I found this, it worked for my problems:
"I solved my issues : spotify.exe and SpotifyLauncher.exe was in compatibility mode, so I disabled this option and now everything is back to normal ! "
If all the other screens display correctly, could you try reinstalling spotify to see if that helps.
Same problem here, on two different computers. The second one with a fresh Spotify installation.
Same problem. I just installed it for the first time and already problems...I am not sure that i am willing to try this out any longer :&
I'm mystified about what's happening with the desktop app on my home PC with Windows 7 since the new update with the black background. The Browse, Discover, Follow and Search results fail to load, showing the (non-)spinning load wheel. The display at the top of my playlists is also blank. However, I can access the apps in the Favorites section okay, and I'm not having trouble playing any tracks.
Adding to the confusion, my computer has multiple accounts. When I log on to another account, also with the updated app, everything loads fine. Browse, Discover, Follow, etc. all work perfectly on that account. Just not mine.
I've tried doing a clean uninstall/reinstall, all ending with the same result: the problems described above.
I half-wonder if it has something to do with the Local Files scan on my account which isn't present on the other account.

Thanks! That did the trick. Wonder why compatibility was the issue? Do I need to upgrade to a new service pack?
I remember that I changed the compatibility to XP when Spotify removed the possibility to have the icon in the taskbar or something like that 1-2 years ago.
I have the same problem on my Mac since the last update. Has anyone got any ideas of what to do on the mac to get past this issue? Have had it before in the past, and updates have sorted it eventually, but its a real pain.
The content in pages does appear after a few minutes, just not straight away. All other web browsing fine in normal browser. Can play tracks with no problem, so its not an internet speed issue.
