I have tried to login to my Spotify account on Windows for the past few days using the email and password that always usually works however this time I get an error message saying:
"Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or take a look at our help area"
When signing into another account via Google it worked, but any accounts that need a username and password I get that error message
I tried to login to the same account on my phone and it worked perfectly fine.
If anybody could help I would be really grateful

This started happening for me a few days ago after I accidentally logged out of the desktop app. Since then I've been trying to figure out how on Earth to quite simply log back in my account on the computer (I also knew my password was correct because I can log in on my phone) What worked for me is to open the link when you are trying to log in using incognito mode (I am using google chrome) This then worked and allowed me to use Spotify on desktop again. Such hard work and I have no idea what was going on but hopefully this will work for you too.
Hey there @dhruve1,
Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.
We'd like to gather further info to better understand what exactly is happening. Just to confirm, are you able to log in with email and password on your mobile device? You mentioned you tried, and it worked, but it's not clear if you're referring to the one linked to Google or the other one.
If you can log in to your mobile device, but not on the desktop app, we'd like to check:

My Question or Issue
My username and password are not recognized from my Windows laptop. I can successfully login from my Android device but those credentials aren't working in my laptop. I've reset my password twice.
