My Question or Issue

I need to remove an entire album from a playlist and it contains about 30+ tracks. I tried using the Control and Shift keys to do this but it does not work. Is there another key I need to get this to work? If I hold the Control key, the system just switches from the current track to the one currently clicked. Same issue with shift.

Hi @dklsierisasdfas,

The regular hold ctrl/shift to select multiple items should also work in Spotify desktop, as in the video here:

Does it work in all your other apps and programs?

Yes it works fine in all other applications. I am currently using Chrome to acess the Web App if that makes a difference.

Hi @dklsierisasdfas,

Very strange that it is not working correctly. There are no settings as far as I know for such basic functionalities. You could try remove the Spotify app and reinstall. Alternatively, if the songs are sequentially in the playlist, select the first one, then hold shift and press arrow down to select multiple songs, maybe that will work instead of clicking with mouse.
