Create similar playlist not working anymore

 I got hyped when i heard about the "create similar Playlist" function in the spotify desktop client.

Tried it with 2 of my playlists and it worked fine.

After burning through the new, created playlists and adding some of the songs to my other playlists i wanted to get new, similar playlists, because the track number for new, random playlists seem to limit at around only 200. So i tried clicking on "create similar playlist" again. But nothing is happening. Button is not greyed out and the playlists i tried it with are my own playlists, not from other people. Context menu is not closing when i click on "create similar"-button, it's just an empty click for this option without any action.

Any Idea?

Same here. bummed out too cos my favourite playlists atm are actually from using this feature on older playlists.

Still having this issue.... in 2020... Nothing happens when I click on "Create Similar Playlist", and the option isn't even available on Android phone.

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here!

Have you tried performing a clean reinstall? You can follow the steps here. This way you make sure that no leftover files remain and afterwards the app UI should function properly. If the issue persists, could you log in on another desktop device and let us know if the button functions properly there? When you post the results, make sure to also include the model and OS of the devices you tested it out as well as your Spotify version. 

It would also be very helpful if you could send over some screenshots showing how the menu with the Create Similar Playlist button is displayed. Just make sure no personal information or payment details are visible when you post in the Community.
