My Question or Issue 

I do not understand how Daily Mix works, I was thinking it worked like a custom playlist based on what I listened (music and artists that I loved and that I put in playlist) and which was daily updated.

I'm from Deezer and the Flow feature works pretty much like that

But there Daily Mix offers me music that has nothing to do with my listens.

For example, I almost exclusively listen to English-speaking music (a bit of French and Scandinavian) mostly metal (broadly), Irish Punk (Celtic) and rock n roll (50's)

Daily Mix offers me a lot of Slav music, and offers me the same bands (Suite 88, Dzed, The Sound Ex, Weesp, Spart) these groups have absolutely no connection with any group I listen

Moreover, the Daily Mix is not updated at all, while I thought it would daily updated

Can you explain me how the Daily Mix works ?

In the FAQ I could see this:

"Based on the different styles of music you regularly listen to, each mix is loaded with artists you love, plus a sprinkling of new discoveries that fit the vibe too."

"The more you listen to Spotify, the better your Daily Mixes become. You can also like or dislike tracks as you hear them so we know for future reference."

"Daily Mix evolves gradually with your listening but a particular mix will display a fresh queue of tracks within a day of when you last listened to it."

That fits well with the idea I had about the operation of the Daily Mix And that's what does not work…

As for Radio Station, the functionality is very good, but I find it limited in terms of suggestion

That's odd!

Have you tried a password reset, check this this Spotify Answer.
I'd also recommend using the Sign Out Everywhere option in your accounts page 🙂

If you have a Facebook-created account, you should be able to reset your Spotify password without changing your Facebook one.

Hey @Vico_,

Since you said that it was mixing songs you actually didn't listen to I assumed that someone might have gotten access to your account. I'm not sure but it could help 🙂

Daily Mixes are playlists that just mix the songs you listen to or have saved in Your Library and as the FAQ said it might have some new tunes that Spotify things you might like to listen to 🙂
