Delete the cache in cache_data

Hello,

I noticed that a folder take lots of storage, this is where is located:  C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Packages\Spotify***.SpotifyMusic_***\LocalCache\Spotify\Browser\***\Cache\Cache_Data

But I don't know if I can delete the files in cache data.

Thanks for your help 😄

Hey @Lazgard,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd suggest performing a clean reinstall of the app rather than just deleting those files. You can find instructions on how to do it in this article. You can uninstall the app, remove all Spotify folders, and reinstall it.

Keep in mind that the folders might contain streaming info about your account as well as downloads (if any). So, if you use the app constantly, the size of that folder might change over time.

We hope you found this helpful. Let us know if you need anything else.
