Desktop Client Windows 8.1 Enterprise not working

Hi everyone,

When I try and open the desktop client on my Windows 8.1 machine, it partially loads the program but stops at this point (see attached), the mouse pointer has the loading circle and it makes the Windows "ding" noise rapidly and repeated forever. 

I have tried reinstalling and deleting the local and roaming appdata folders multiple times with no luck.

Please help!
