Desktop search results different from web, android app

My Question or Issue

 Search results appear to vary between app.  For instance, when searching "Mike Gordon' on the desktop app I'm shown that there is an artist match, but when clicking it I'm directed to what appears to be a default screen with no albums, playlist information, top songs, etc. almost as though it were a brand new artist.  The same search in a web browser gives me full results, as does my android app.
