Disable desktop overlay media keys

My Question or Issue

Whenever I use my keyboard media keys to pause a song, change songs, or change volumes, an overlay appears in the upper left-hand corner and remains there for a few seconds. Is there anway to disable this permantently? In spotify => edit => preferences => display options  => "show desktop overlay when using media keys" is already disabled. So I don't know what else to do. The overlay is really annoying.

There is no solution. VOTE and hope for Spotify's staff to fix it.
