Discover tab nerfed

Discover-tab (a great feature, might I add) suddenly got cut down - it now only contains New Releases (no problem there) and a selection of localized pop music playlists that I never listen. "Top recommended albums" and "Albums like X artists" have all disappeared.

Now, is anyone else experiencing this, is the issue in my client or perhaps Spotify server-side? And please don't tell me this is a new streamlining feature.

Running Windows 10 desktop app.

Edit: Clean install fixed the issue, but only temporarily - still stuck with pop music playlists instead of suggested albums based on my listened music.
