Does the Explicit Content Feature Block Friend Feed?

Hello Spotify Community,

Does the explicit content feature block your friend feed? For example, if one of my friends was listening to an explicit song, and I accidentally clicked on it, would it still play the song? I want to follow some of my friends, but I don't want to accidentally listen to explicit music (and I do have the filter turned on). Thanks!

Spotify's filter is content based so it should also block playback in such a case.
