Why is it possible to download all my songs saved in the library on mobile devices but not on desktop-version?
Hey @anton-kraus
Unfortunately this is not available in the desktop app.
Right now you can only download playlists for offline use in the dekstop app:

If you would like to be able to download songs, albums, and artists in the desktop app, you can vote for this idea: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Desktop-Your-Music-Ability-to-make-quot-Your-Music-quot/...
Original issue raised in 2015. Almost three years later and Spotify has not fixed the inconsistency among their apps!
it took them 6 years to make user profile pictures available outside facebook, they must have an inside joke.
What you can do is you create a new playlist (gabs playlist for me) and then go to your songs tab and use ctrl+a which selects all the songs. Then after that right click and send to gabs playlist. Done. You can now go to your new playlist and download all your lovely songs. 🙂
Ctrl + A selects nothing in the Windows desktop app. I can't follow how you did this. Could you please explain it a bit more?
Edit: apparently you have to select one song first, by clicking on one. Then you can Ctrl + a to select all and add to your playlist.
Besides this... It's honestly pathetic that this feature is not available after almost 3 years! I have to create a new list everytime I add a new song now...
