My Question or Issue

Hello! Why do I get this error when I log on the app?
So does the browser.
I've tried reinstaling the app, erasing old data without any results.
The phone's going well.

Hey @marco12345,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Try running through the steps described in this Spotify Answer.

It's also possible that a Firewall/ System management software is blocking your access.

If that doesn't help try connecting to a different network and check whether you get the same results.

Keep us posted on how you get on.

Hey @marco12345,

Thanks for the reply.

Did you check there are any entries containing Spotify in your host files?

Cheers.

how can I check this out?
can you help me with the teamviewer?

Hi @marco12345

Thanks for your reply.

Not to worry. You can check your host files following the steps you'll find here.

Also, if you've downloaded the app directly from our website, could you give it a try downloading it from the Microsoft Store and vice versa?

We'll be on the lookout.

I really can't handle these steps, can you help me with the teamviewer?

Hi again @marco12345

Thanks for getting back to us.

We're currently unable to help with TeamViewer. In this case, can you confirm if you performed a clean reinstall of the app? This can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing trouble.

If you're using an Antivirus or firewall, make sure Spotify is set as an exception.

Let us know how it goes.

Hey @marco12345

Thanks for keeping us posted about this.

If you still get this error message after performing a clean reinstall of Spotify it might be a good idea to check if the issue might be specifically related to your account. To check this, you can ask a friend or family member to log in to their own Spotify account on your device, or simply create a test account for this purpose.

If this doesn't appear on another account, you can follow the steps in this Spotify Answer next.

Keep us in the loop here.
