Expanding playlist descriptions

So recently I followed this playlist, and there's a link I'd like to follow to contact the original creator, but I can't seem to find any way to expand the description, and some people seem to say it's not even possible. If there is actually no way, I don't understand why they don't add a "read more" button, just seems like sloppy design tbh.
