Friend activity section pointless when not connected to Facebook

Friend activity section pointless when not connected to Facebook

The following is a screenshot of the "Friend Activity" section in Spotify

As you can see it's telling me to enable "Share my listening activity on Spotify" which I have, yet it still shows it.  It seems to be entirely pointless unless you are connected to Spotify, which is crazy why you would rely on them for this feature, but even then, just let me hide that panel, it does nothing except display an incorrect message.

Hey there @niknak82,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

We weren't able to see the screenshot you sent. Would you mind trying to attach it again? You can attach the image to your next response to us by using the Insert Photos option in the post editor.

On another note, you should be able to see your followed friends' listening activity without connecting your account with Facebook.

Keep in mind that there were recent changes made to every user's settings, in which the default setting to share listening activity has been globally set to OFF, and this may be the reason other users have disappeared from your Friend Feed. In this case, you can let your friends know of this change and ask them to turn it on in their settings if they want to share their listening activity.

In case you're sure that your friends turned that option on, please provide us with the info we're asking for in this Status update so we can further look into it.

Let us know how it goes.
