Friends' Activity only showing Connect to Facebook or Add Facebook Friends

My Question or Issue

Friends' Activity is only showing Connect to Facebook or adding friends from Facebook. There is no option to actually see their activity, only to add them to follow on Spotify.

I too have a similar problem with the latest update. I don't have Facebook connected but I do have Spotify Friends that I used to be able to see their current activity in this feed. Now I get the notification that I need the connection to Facebook to see their feed. I don't know why you think forcing us to connect our Spotify account to a greedy data collecting company is a good idea?
